Next to the track to the Falls the bush is dense, and a sense of the steepness into the gorge is shown in the following photo.
The return walking trip takes about 1.5 -2 hours, most of it virtually flat. There are metal stairs which take you closer to the Falls for a better view.
This was an easy walk, exceptionally pleasant and so short, that I strongly recommend it to anyone who is travelling to the Tarkine. Certainly everyone that I met had walked it and without exception declared it to be one of the best things they had seen and experienced in the Tarkine. And it is free to see!
